We live in the central mountainous region of France "Auvergne" Our farm is situated at an altitude of 1100m, this makes for rugged winters with lots of snow but also for nice cool summers. Our traditional stone built Farm house was built in the early 1800 and has the advantage to having 200ēm of stables attached to it, we have since converted them in to boxes for the dogs so that they are never very far from us. We also have 2 big parks (1000ēm each) that are entirely fenced to 2m for the dogs to spend there days in when they are not with us, as well as several smaller parks to separate bitches in heat or dogs that are in quarantine.

We are lucky in that working on our farm we are with our dogs 100% of the time. I can honestly say that either on or of the farm, I always have at least one dog with me, and couldn't conceive my life any other way. We have several dogs that live in the house with us, and all the dogs get there turn to watch TV in the evenings regularly. The bitches all give birth in our home and the puppies are raised next to the kitchen until they are 3 weeks old and need more space to move. We don't see any reason to breed such an exceptional breed of dogs if we don't profit from them.
